OTH Recruitment is a new consultancy, set up to service the demand from agencies outside of London for high quality, experienced advertising personnel.
Regional agencies are no longer poorly resourced and parochial, but are competing against the biggest agencies for well known National accounts - and they are growing.
Senior management
David Nix was the first graduate trainee at Kenny Lockett Booth (now BLM Media) in 1992, working on the Thomas Cook, Hertz and Michelin accounts. In 1998 he joined Universal McCann as a Media Manager working on Sky TV and progressed to being an Account Director on Bacardi-Martini UK and a Group Account Director on the £70mil L'Oreal account.
In 2003 he left and became Media Director at Tunbridge Wells based full service agency Nexus/H to work on (amongst others) Suzuki GB and Sharp UK. He was a key member of the pitch team that won the Cunard Line business in 2006.
In 2007 he set up OTH to service the growing demand for high quality advertising human resource in the growing agencies outside of London. David has a degree in English, a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, is a Member of the IPA and has hundreds of children (well... three), all boys.
